Letters to Linda
- My hands are always a mess. I have sensitive skin to begin with, and as a manicurist, I'm too busy with other people's hands to take care of my own. I've tried some peels but they just take too much time. The first time I tried the Linda Rose Hand Care System, it felt wonderful. I could see a difference immediately. It's a great product. I love it. -- Carrie Newhouse, Owner, Salon 90265 in Malibu, California
- The response to the Linda Rose products has been overwhelming and in turn, Linda's professionalism is outstanding. -- Susan Oberman, Manicurist at Nails on Freemont
- Working with fabric, not to mention sequins and rhinestones, is very hard on my hands. They get so dry. But most remedies are too greasy, too much trouble, or just not effective. Linda's Hand Care System is sensational and so easy to use. And the gel is non-greasy which really helps me when I work. This is definitely the best hand product on the market. -- Patricia Reed, Designer and dressmaker in Branson, Missouri
- My daffodils are very important to me. I love to garden, but the Southern California sun and dry skin have caught up to me long before I expected. I used to have really nice hands--you know--soft and pretty. And I never missed my weekly manicure. But fifty-two manicures a year weren't making my hands look any younger. I was beginning to be a hand hider. But your Linda Rose Hand Care System really changed that for me. I noticed a difference right away and after two weeks, the man in my life noticed the difference. Now he's dipping into the cream and gel. I guess he's the modern man! I think the product is absolutely marvelous. -- Elizabeth Caulder, Public Relations, Malibu, California
- I know it's unusual for a woman to be a carpenter, but it's fascinating. The only trouble is it's really hard on my hands. There's little time to fuss with them. I'm also a single mom and my son Augie is a revelation, but he's a 5-year old boy. What can I say? I need all the help I can get. With the Linda Rose Hand Care System, I feel my hands look pretty for the first time in a long time. -- Iris Fingerhut, Carpenter in Santa Monica, California
- Dear Linda, If they gave out awards for the " best hand hider, " I would probably take home a statuette. My hands have always been a problem. They are sensitive and easily chapped, red in the winter and equally sensitive in the summer. Add to this some ragged cuticles and you have the target customer for every new hand care product. I tried everything that came out which assured me that with regular use, my hands would rival those of the Mona Lisa, or at least Barbra Streisand--the hands he'd love to touch.
They lied. I not only still had rough hands, but had spent a fortune on products which were at times messy, time consuming and really didn't make a noticeable difference. So that's how I became an expert hand hider. I coveted clothes with big pockets and even amassed a wardrobe of gloves which I wore in what I'm sure were the most inappropriate occasions. Kind friends began referring to me as eccentric.
When I heard about your Hand Care System, it seemed like just one more hokey attempt at selling "hope in a bottle," or to be correct here, in two jars. So being me, I tried it--but on one hand. I was not only going to get my full refund, I was sure that I, if nobody else, was going to prove you wrong.
Well, I was truly amazed. The treated hand really felt and looked better the first time I used the cream and the gel. In just one week, the skin tone on the treated hand was turning from angry red to peachy pink, my cuticles calmed down, and the wrinkles and lines were softening. At the end of two weeks, the treated hand, which I was now referring to as my "good" hand, even seemed to have faded in the dreaded "age spot" department. Actually, the "good" hand looked better than I can remember.
Then something really freaky happened. My friends actually started noticing the difference in my two hands. Of course, now I felt like a jerk. I had one hand that I was showing off like I had just gotten a new emerald ring, and another hand that was definitely not part of a matched set.
This stuff really works, and I must say it was easy to use--just a small amount of the cream followed by a drop of the gel. It took less than a minute a day to really change my life. My clothes no longer have to have really big pockets. Hey, anybody want to buy a large glove wardrobe, size 7, very reasonable? -- Sincerely, Betty Harter, Downey, California
